Little things and Big things

It's never the big things, always the little things -- that alter our perspective on reality.

To provide a little context not particularly related to this post: Lucille left today. She was the building custodian (janitor) at my workplace, and for what it's worth was the one who always greeted me and asked me how I was doing today. She always noticed when I was a little down, and pointed it out to me. Lately, I'd been noticing that she was a little subdued, and today I found out she's leaving. Friday will be her last. Good luck to you Lucille - we'll miss you!
